About Mrs. Erica, Licensed Kindermusik® Educator
Music has always been an important
part of Mrs. Erica’s life -- from studying piano and voice as a child to using music
to teach in a classroom setting. Mrs. Erica began her music-teaching career while in
high school teaching piano lessons to young children. After high school, Mrs. Erica
earned a B.A. in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Latin American
Studies, a M.A. in Early Childhood Education, and +30 hours in TESOL from Furman University.
Upon graduation, Mrs. Erica taught Modified Child Development, Kindergarten, and
ESOL. During this time, Mrs. Erica also
sang in college and church choirs, as well as serving as a soloist for numerous
church and community events.
Mrs. Erica was first introduced to
Kindermusik® when her daughter was born. As a new mother, she was looking for
opportunities to enrich her child's life, as well as a way to create
connections with other families. Kindermusik® was the perfect fit! Though the
years, Mrs. Erica enjoyed Kindermusik® classes in multiple states as her family
relocated and grew. On her most recent move to Georgia, she was greatly disappointed to
not find a Kindermusik® studio nearby. Mrs. Erica missed Kindermusik® classes so much she decided
to begin her own program -- Growing Musicians LLC. Mrs. Erica successfully graduated from Kindermusik® University, and is excited to share her
passion for Kindermusik® with other families!
Mrs. Erica resides in Forsyth County, Georgia with her husband and their three daughters.
