Children love music. Music is one of the best methods for learning in early childhood development. Kindermusik® is more than just a music class. Kindermusik®'s curricula is steeped in educational theory and designed to improve a child’s brain development. And for parents, it’s a fun and meaningful activity to do with your children!

Music Matters

Psychologists, neuroscientists, and experts in early childhood development have demonstrated that music does more for children than bring them joy; it helps their brain cells make the connections needed for virtually every kind of intelligence. The following research is the core of Kindermusik®’s curricula.

When young children are consistently engaged by music in an age-appropriate, socially-safe environment, they benefit at multiple domains of development:



Nurturing children’s creativity and challenging them to come up with new and expressive ways of doing things helps them to become better problem-solvers and more innovative thinkers later in life.





By moving and dancing to music and playing simple instruments, children improve their gross and fine motor skills.

Kindermusik® takes the latest in child development and neuroscience research and translates our understanding of those findings to the classroom. 

Students who received Kindermusik® instruction showed significantly larger gains (32% more improvement) on the Phonological Awareness Test ("PALS™") than did students who did not receive Kindermusik® instruction. These results indicate that the Kindermusik® program successfully boosts preschoolers’ language and literacy skills.
